### 5.4. Removal and Resignation

Any officer elected or appointed pursuant to 5.2 above may be at any time, with or without cause, removed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors. Any officer appointed pursuant to 5.2 above may be at any time, with or without cause, removed by the same authority which appointed them.

Any officer may resign at any time by giving written notice to the Board of Directors, the President, or the Secretary. An officer's resignation shall take effect when it is received or at any later time specified therein. Unless the resignation specifies otherwise, its acceptance by the organization shall not be necessary to make it effective.
