### 5.8. Treasurer

The Treasurer (AKA Chief Financial Officer) shall keep and maintain, or cause to be kept and maintained, adequate and accurate accounts of the organization's properties and business transactions, including accounts of its assets, liabilities, receipts, disbursements, gains, losses, capital, retained earnings, and shares.

The Treasurer shall deposit all money and other valuables in the name and to the credit of the organization with the depositories designated by the Board. They shall disburse the organization's funds as ordered by the Board, shall render to the President and the Board whenever they request an account of all their transactions and of the organization's financial position and condition, and shall have any other powers and perform any other duties that are prescribed by the Board or the Bylaws or the President.

The Treasurer will work with the appropriate committee(s) regarding the regular business of the organization and shall make monthly reports to the Board at the regularly scheduled Board Meetings. The Treasurer and Secretary will jointly produce an Annual Report to the Board of Directors per Article 7.2.
